Ishinyru Officials Referee Course All Ishinryu officials are invited to this regular event along with any club members who wish to learn more about officiating at karate competitions . Please remember that anyone sitting exams MUST bring a minimum of 2 fighters with them. These fighters will be needed from 2 until 4pm to assist with the applicants practical assessment. Representation of fighters from all clubs would assist greatly with these courses and help both officials and fighters, especially those who compete, to understand and work the rules to their benefit. Ishinryu pre-grading Course All those planning to take a general grading in December should be sure to attend this one-day course. Green Belt (5th and 4th Kyu) - check in at 11:30 for training from 12:00 midday through to 2 pm. Blue, Brown and Belt Belts training from 2:30 throgh to 4:30 Training will be taken by Sensei Ticky Donovan OBE 8th Dan. Price is £10 for the session. 2009 Summer Course This annual event in the Ishinryu Calendar is being held in the last week of June. This will be the 34th year of presentation. Top Ishinryu Instructors will join Ishinryu founder Sensei Ticky Donovan (OBE) 8th Dan for this intensive week of training and events. Book early to avoid dissapointment.
